Kids usually meet their favorite authors through a book cover. At Miami Dade College’s Miami Book Fair, they can meet them in person.
During Street Fair weekend, Nov. 20-22, families can hear from Meg Cabot, Rachel Renée Russell and Nikki Russell of “Dork Diaries,” Gail Carson Levine and other authors writing for children and teens.
Between author events, Children’s Alley offers hands-on activities and family entertainment. Friday admission is free for everyone, and children 12 and under attend free throughout the weekend.
