Lori Arbel’s contribution, Ancestral Dialogues Rooted in Fort Lauderdale, builds on over two decades of her work blending art, education, healing, and storytelling. This community-centered project reimagines local history through digital montage artworks inspired by archival images, and includes an exhibition, a hands-on workshop, and school-friendly activities. Featuring work from both Lori and participants, the project aims to honor ancestors, inspire intergenerational dialogue, and strengthen community connection, and will be showcased in the Macaroni Kid Fort Lauderdale Artist Spotlight as part of the #Marks4TheirLives Global Art Initiative.
